Mitsubishi heavy duty commercial marine engines range from a 14.6 liter, 429 hp in line 6-cylinder marine propulsion engines to a 65-liter, V-16, 1,676 hp marine propulsion engine suitable for a wide range of heavy-duty applications.

Mitsubishi Heavy Duty engines are all EPA compliant and meet EPA Tier 3 and Tier 4 emission requirements, with simple mechanical engine controls. The engines typically offer 20% or more displacement than most of the competition. These features make the Mitsubishi propulsion engines suitable for many heavy-duty commercial applications such as pushboats, tugs, fishing vessels, and passenger and car ferries.
